Senior Planning Manager - East Africa (Maternity Cover)
Responsibilities or duties
- Effectively plan operations across all local sourcing sites to ensure production requirements are met to maintain optimum customer service levels.
- Inventory management- ensuring inventory is kept to minimum levels.
- Ensure zero Out of Stock / Distress
- Ensure that the Supply Plan is executed as planned.
- Ensure compliance & contribute to upkeep and improvement of Health, Safety & Environmental corporate policy/procedures & applicable legal requirements.
- Deliver EMO PFR and OTD targets.
- SLA setup with all EMOs and KPI's managed within terms of the agreement. KPIs to be in place for all EMOs, reviewed and published every month.
- Ensure strict adherence with Quality Management System(s)
- Any other task assigned by Top Management.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
- Strategic Planning & Monitoring ability
- Stakeholder management: ability to build and maintain external/internal Customer relationships.
- Expertise in MRP and MP
- Display sound judgement in difficult circumstances.
- Able to drive continuous improvement at all organizational levels.
- Ability to effectively communicate at all levels with internal & external stakeholders and suppliers.
- Ability and confidence to challenge, question, influence and negotiate.
- Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge.
- Advanced in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Must be highly analytical.
