Background

As part of our continued growth, Neo Group is recruiting on behalf of one of our local partners, leveraging our network of 1,400 talented professionals across 10+ countries. Together, we are committed to delivering innovative, data-driven solutions that empower our clients and foster professional growth within a dynamic and collaborative workplace.

Role Overview

Are you a master of the Kenyan digital landscape? We are on the hunt for a dynamic Social Media & Performance Lead to take charge of our brand’s expansion in one of the globe’s most exciting betting markets.

This isn't just about posting content; it’s about building a community. You will be the architect of our SMM strategy, blending local cultural nuances with data-driven performance marketing. From navigating complex gambling regulations to scaling viral TikTok campaigns and managing high-impact influencers, you will have the autonomy to build, test, and lead our Kenyan presence from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy & Brand Ownership

  • Market Growth: Develop and execute a bespoke SMM strategy specifically tailored to the Kenyan player profile.
  • Cultural Localization: Create and oversee content that resonates with local trends, slang, and sporting passions.
  • HQ Collaboration: Act as the bridge between local execution and global HQ strategy to ensure brand alignment.

2. Performance & Paid Media

  • Full-Funnel Ads: Plan and optimize paid campaigns across Meta (Ads Manager), Google Ads, and TikTok, ensuring a seamless cross-channel journey.
  • Data-Driven Optimization: Run rigorous A/B tests and utilize Google Analytics, Tableau, and DV360 to scale winning campaigns and maximize ROI.
  • Compliance First: Ensure every asset and campaign strictly adheres to Kenyan gambling advertising policies and platform restrictions.

3. Community & Influence

  • Engagement: Drive organic growth and foster a loyal customer community across Facebook, X, Instagram, and TikTok.
  • Influencer Ecosystem: Identify, recruit, and manage local influencers and partners to amplify brand trust.
  • Creative Management: Lead external contractors (designers, editors, copywriters) to produce world-class visual assets.

Qualifications & Experience

  • The iGaming Factor: 3+ years of SMM experience specifically within the iGaming, Betting, or Online Casino industry.
  • Market Expertise: Deep, hands-on experience working within the Kenyan or broader African digital markets.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and DV360, with a focus on performance-driven results.
  • Analytical Rigor: Proficient in data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau to turn metrics into actionable insights.
  • Compliance Knowledge: A "black belt" in understanding gambling social media restrictions and local Kenyan regulations.
  • Language: Fluent English is a must; Swahili is a significant advantage.

Additional Details

  • Autonomy: We don't micromanage. You spearhead the strategy; we provide the resources and vision.
  • Impact: Take a brand from "present" to "dominant" in the Kenyan market.
  • Growth: Work at the intersection of entertainment, technology, and high-performance marketing.
