Makueni County Public Service Board is a body corporate established under Section 57 of the County Governments Act 2012 whose mandate includes appointing persons to hold or act in the offices of County Public Service.
In order to strengthen the capacity of the Public Service, the Board wishes to recruit competent and qualified persons to fill the following positions as per Section 59 of the County Governments' Act 2012.
Responsibilities or duties
Work at this level will involve:
- Heading a statistics Section in the department responsible for planning;
- Carrying out more specialized and complex economic planning/statistical analyses;
- Supervising and coordinating the activities of staff under him/her;
- Heading a Planning and Project Monitoring Unit in a Department.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
- Bachelor's degree in any of the following disciplines: - Economics, Statistics, Economics and Mathematics, Economics and Statistics, Economics and Finance or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
Experience needed
SIX (6) years' relevant experience.
