Background

The United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) is the United Nations programme mandated to promote and coordinate a coherent implementation of the urban aspects of sustainable development goals (SDGs) in line with the New Urban Agenda. UN-Habitat is the focal point for human settlements and the focal point for the implementation of the New Urban Agenda.

Responsibilities

The consultant will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies, creating engaging content, managing social media platforms, monitoring social media trends, and analyzing social media performance.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field. Proven experience in social media management, content creation, and digital marketing is required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Experience

A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in social media consulting or management.
