The Kenya School of Law (KSL) is the only bar school in Kenya. After their completion of an Undergraduate Degrees in Law from a recognized university, students attend the Kenya School of Law to be prepared for admission to the Kenyan Bar. The Kenya School of Law was established as a law vocational training school in 1963.
Responsibilities or duties
The duties and responsibilities of the officer will entail: -
- Attending to students and clients during sports activities to ensure their needs are for and administer first aid when necessary;
- Ensuring sports facilities are in good working condition at all times for smooth operations and generation of income;
- Maintaining sports equipment in good working at all times to reduce maintenance costs and for better services;
- Reporting defective equipment for repair or replacement in order to avoid further damage thus reduce repair costs;
- Assisting the senior sport planning and to Propose annual sports calendar and activities for the sports committee’s approval to guide the school on planning and the students to prepare for the activities;
- Ensuring clients pay for the services rendered in good time to enable the finance department honour requests and run smoothly; and
- Liaise with group clients from time to time to avoid the inconveniences and safeguard the school image to maintain clients.
Qualifications or requirements
For appointment to this grade, an officer must have: -
- Diploma in Sports Science or equivalent from a recognized institution;
- Meet requirements of Chapter 6 of the Constitution; and
- Proficiency in computer applications.
