Spray Supervisor
Job Summary
The Spray Supervisor will coordinate crop spraying activities, ensuring that plant-protection products are applied safely, accurately, and in accordance with farm procedures and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and supervise spraying activities.
- Ensure correct products, application rates, timing, and target areas are followed.
- Coordinate spray teams and monitor their performance.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and safe chemical-handling practices.
- Maintain accurate spray records and application documentation.
- Monitor weather and field conditions before spraying.
- Ensure spraying equipment is properly cleaned and maintained.
- Report spray-related incidents, crop reactions, or operational challenges.
Ideal Candidate
- Relevant agricultural/horticultural training and practical experience.
- Experience supervising crop-protection or spraying operations.
- Strong understanding of chemical safety and PPE requirements.
- High level of responsibility and attention to detail.
