JOB DETAILS:
Background
The Statistician role is a core technical position within the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics. Officers appointed to this role will contribute directly to the production, management, and dissemination of official statistical data across various thematic areas, including social, economic, demographic, and sectoral statistics.
Key Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of the Statistician role include supporting data collection activities, participating in surveys and censuses, contributing to data analysis and interpretation, and assisting in the preparation of statistical reports and publications. The role also involves collaboration with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure data quality, accuracy, and timeliness.
