Responsibilities or duties
- With guidance from the Outreach management team, undertake design activities and analysis of complex clinical and operational data.
- Analyze internal and external data to inform critical business decisions, preparation of technical reports and presentations e.g. customer experience surveys
- Work with colleagues and other biostatisticians to create datasets for analysis using statistical programming and analysis standards.
- Code, prepare and clean data prior to analysis; assemble, manage and analyzes large datasets.
- Review data to ensure consistent, accurate and valid conclusions; identify data discrepancies and work with Outreach managers to develop resolution.
- Collaborate and assist with the preparation of daily and monthly clinical and operational insights, progress reports and data requests.
- Support the Management Team in providing and presenting data required for business proposals/market research/feasibility studies.
- Design data analysis set specifications.
- Write statistical analysis code/formulas, find and correct errors.
- Identify and resolve data quality issues or errors; maintain data integrity.
- Validate output and results.
- Assist in training staff and other stakeholders on the datasets/data collection tools e.g. QVR
- Present data analysis findings to leadership/ stakeholders
- Present key trends, relationships and risks to team members.
- Identify and work to implement process improvement initiatives within the Statistics function and across related functions
- Contribute to the development of best practice to improve quality, efficiency and effectiveness.
- Maintain/archive all databases in use in Outreach Division.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
- Degree in Statistics or Mathematics
- Vast knowledge in Statistical Analysis Software
- Able to develop and maintain effective working relationships
- Good oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain tactful, patient and calm in stressful situations
- Neat well-groomed appearance
- Ability to maintain record of official correspondence.
Excellent at computer operation for;
- All online systems
- Computerized management system.
- Application Software, MS-Office Suite
Experience needed
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position.
