Summary of the Role

  • Movement of inventory and management of the assigned stores.
  • Accurate and timely issuance of goods as per user's requests.
  • Accurate verification of goods from the receiving team.
  • Work with the procurement team and end users to ensure accurate requests are made and minimizing and/or eliminating slow moving and obsolete stocks.
  • Recommend optimum quantities of items to be purchased.
  • Undertake stock takes and being responsible for the variances thereof, whilst monitoring expiries.
  • Adhere to the quality requirements of the department.

Essential and Desirable Criteria

  • A minimum of a Diploma in Purchasing and Supplies or a relevant field.
  • At least three years of relevant working experience in a similar role.
  • Must possess administrative/warehousing/accounting skills.
  • Computer Literate and Proficient in MS- Excel.
  • Ability to work independently with team skills and a high level of integrity.
