SUPERVISOR

Job Title: Sales Supervisor
Location: Nairobi Headquarters
Department: Sales & Marketing
Reports To: Sales Manager

Job Purpose

To supervise the sales team, drive product visibility and market penetration, and strengthen relationships with hospitals, pharmacies, healthcare professionals, and distributors. The Sales Supervisor will ensure achievement of sales targets while mentoring field representatives and implementing effective sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support Medical Representatives to achieve sales and coverage targets.
  • Develop and implement territory sales plans aligned with company objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, pharmacies, wholesalers, and key healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure the company's products are listed and available in targeted hospitals and healthcare facilities.
  • Conduct regular field visits to coach, mentor, and evaluate the performance of Medical Representatives.
  • Monitor competitor activities and provide market intelligence.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and performance analyses.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and ethical pharmaceutical promotion practices.
  • Organize product presentations, Continuous Medical Education (CME) sessions, and promotional activities.
  • Resolve customer concerns and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Technology, Biomedical Sciences, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years' experience in pharmaceutical sales, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or team leadership role.
  • Demonstrated experience in hospital product listing and institutional sales.
  • Strong understanding of the Kenyan pharmaceutical market.
  • Valid driving licence is an added advantage.
