The Samburu County Public Service Board invites applications from qualified Persons to fill the following vacant Position in the County Government of Samburu:-
DEPARTMENT OF SPECIAL PROGRAMS
Supply Chain Management Officer I, Job Group CPSB 09 (3 Posts)
Responsibilities or duties
- Implement Procurement and asset disposal processes in line with the Public Procurement and asset Disposal Act and Regulations.
- Prepare Procurement Plans and assist in monitoring their implementation.
- Prepare tender documents, requests for quotations and proposals.
- Coordinate Tender Opening and Evaluation Processes.
- Maintain proper Procurement Records and Documentation.
- Support Contract Management and Supplier Performance Monitoring.
- Ensure effective Stores and Inventory Management.
- Prepare Periodic Procurement Reports.
- Ensure adherence to Ethical Standards in Procurement.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Supply Chain Management.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
- Bachelor's Degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Commerce (Supply Chain Option) Business Administration (Supply Chain Option) or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution.
- Membership to a recognized Professional Body such as Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM).
- Valid Practicing License from KISM.
- Proficiency in Computer Applications.
- Demonstrate Integrity and Professional Competence.
Experience needed
- Two (2) years experience a the Level of any Procurement Job.
