Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Swimming Pool Technician for a prestigious ultra-luxury beachfront hotel in Mombasa. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, cleaning, and repair of all swimming pool facilities to ensure they meet the highest standards of safety, hygiene, and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular cleaning of swimming pools, including skimming, vacuuming, and brushing.
• Test and balance pool water chemistry (pH, chlorine, alkalinity, etc.) and make necessary adjustments.
• Maintain and repair pool equipment, including pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators.
• Inspect pool areas for safety hazards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, water test results, and repairs.
• Respond promptly to guest concerns or issues related to the pool facilities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Swimming Pool Technician or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of pool water chemistry and treatment methods.
• Familiarity with pool maintenance equipment and repair techniques.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations related to swimming pools.
• Good physical condition and ability to perform manual labor.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
