Key Responsibilities:

Proactively assist the team on different aspects of engagements in the planning and implementation of assignments/project activities, which include periodic filing, computations, analysis, and data gathering, as assigned.

Assist with drafting opinion letters, responses to Revenue Authority inquiries, Revenue Authority's ruling requests, and writing other technical memorandums.

Conduct tax research, tax planning, and the preparation of supporting work papers for various tax-related projects.

Assist in client interactions by addressing routine queries under supervision and ensure accuracy.

Maintain organized working papers.

Contribute to thought leadership papers through writing articles and participating in activities aimed at brand enhancement.

Ensure compliance with the firm's quality standards and policies.

Provide guidance and support to juniors on assigned tasks.

Skills and Qualifications Required:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Law, or related field.

CPA(K) / ACCA in Accounting, Tax Administration, or equivalent qualification is an added advantage.

Minimum 1-2 years of progressive experience in tax consultancy.

Proven technical knowledge of Kenyan tax laws and exposure to international tax law.

Experience managing multiple Kenyan clients and leading teams in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Strong leadership and personnel management skills.

Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.

Strong client relationship development acumen.

Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
