Responsibilities or duties

Operations & Production Planning: Execute production plans, manage mould changeovers, monitor material usage, and ensure efficient coordination between production and storage to meet demand and optimize yields.

Maintenance & Technical Oversight: Oversee maintenance of moulding machines and utilities, troubleshoot technical issues, and minimize downtime to ensure continuous production flow.

Strategy, Budget & Compliance: Manage production costs, drive cost-saving initiatives, oversee supplier coordination, and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.

Leadership & Team Management: Lead and supervise plant teams, drive performance, identify training needs, and ensure adherence to operational policies and targets.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

Bachelor’s Degree in Plastics, Polymer, Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, or alternatively, a Bachelors of Science with a CIPET Diploma in Plastics Processing Technology

Experience needed

  • 10–15 years’ experience in PET preform and closure manufacturing
  • Hands-on experience with high-speed European machinery (Husky, Sacmi, Netstal, SIPA, Krauss Maffei)
  • Strong experience in plant operations, maintenance (PM, CM), and troubleshooting
  • Proficiency in SAP and AutoCAD.
  • Proven leadership and team management capability in a manufacturing environment
