About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Technical Trainer to join a leading automotive organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing the technical capabilities of Aftersales teams by developing and delivering effective training programs that support operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and update technical training content in collaboration with relevant business units.
  • Design and implement annual and quarterly training calendars.
  • Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to identify capability gaps.
  • Facilitate technical training sessions for workshop and Aftersales personnel.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure training materials remain aligned with industry trends, technologies, and company standards.
  • Maintain training records and provide regular reports on training activities and outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Auto Mechanics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
  • 8–10 years of relevant experience within the automotive industry, preferably in Aftersales, workshop operations, or technical training.
  • Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems and Aftersales operations.
  • Proven technical training and facilitation skills.
  • Excellent presentation and communication abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and coaching skills.
  • Sound understanding of automotive industry trends and best practices.
  • Ability to engage diverse audiences and transfer technical knowledge effectively.
