Job Summary

The Transport & Logistics Supervisor handles day-to-day field operations. This role coordinates driver tracking, asset inspections, dispatch schedules, and real-time transit problem resolution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily Dispatching: Coordinate daily asset schedules, driver assignments, and cargo loading priorities.
  • Asset Inspection: Conduct rigorous pre-trip and post-trip asset inspections to ensure mechanical safety and cargo security.
  • Real-time Tracking: Monitor active fleet locations via GPS tracking software to ensure route discipline and safety compliance.
  • Incident Resolution: Troubleshoot operational delays, vehicle breakdowns, or route adjustments directly with drivers.
  • Reporting: Maintain precise field logs regarding fuel usage, turnaround times, and driver trip completion reports.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: Diploma or Degree in Logistical operations, Supply Chain, or Transport Management.
  • Experience: Hands-on experience in fleet dispatching or field tracking operations.
  • Competencies: Proficient with GPS tracking systems, solid problem-solving abilities, and strong field communication skills.
