Responsible for managing the company owned fleet, supervise the staff and liaise with the outsourced transport service providers to provide the most cost-effective solutions.

Responsibilities or duties

Manage by planning, costing and allocating vehicles routes, air ticketing and international hotel accommodations ensuring sufficient flexibility is in place to meet the varying and changing needs of internal customers.

Ensure that all vehicles are compliant with all legal, regulatory and contractual requirements, and where necessary escalating any identified issues and recommending resolution.

Develop and implement a proactive, planned and structured approach to the maintenance of fleet vehicles, keeping within the designated budget and ensuring all vehicles used are fit for purpose and the customer experience is of a high standard.

Ensuring drivers are compliant with all regulatory requirements and that they deliver service appropriate to the changing needs of customers in line with relevant guidance and individual risk assessments.

Manage and develop a team of drivers, who may be working remotely, either alone or in small teams, in order to deliver a high-quality service to customers.

Support the management team, undertaking delegated tasks and responsibilities in line with the emerging needs and operational requirements of the service, including where necessary, and contracting outsourced transport provision to external transport providers.

Coordinate, repairs & maintenance of motor vehicle (both Company owned and leased).

Develop and keep current Incident Management Report, Policies and Procedures and ensure compliance by all department members.

Management of Contracts and Suppliers services.

Initiate replacement & disposal of the bank fleet and actively participate in procurement of replacement/new vehicle fleet.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

Bachelor’s degree: Business related / Supply Chain Management /Logistics/relevant degree.

Professional qualification: Fleet Management System

Experience needed

5 years’ work experience in Transport.

3 years’ work experience in Logistics and Driver Management

3 years’ work experience in Customer Services, Administrative and Finance
