Royal Mabati Factory Limited is a leading manufacturer of high-quality mabati (corrugated iron sheets) and related roofing products in Kenya. We are committed to innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction. We are seeking to hire a qualified and experienced Truck Driver to join our logistics team.
Responsibilities:
The Truck Driver will be responsible for:
- Safely operating company trucks to transport goods and materials to various destinations.
- Ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products to customers.
- Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Maintaining accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Adhering to all traffic laws and company safety regulations.
- Assisting with loading and unloading of goods as required.
- Reporting any vehicle malfunctions or accidents to the supervisor immediately.
Qualifications and Experience:
The ideal candidate should possess:
- A valid Kenya driving license with a clean driving record (Class BCE).
- A valid Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
- Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
- Knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices.
- Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be physically fit and able to handle the demands of the job.
