KPMG is a professional service company, being one of the Big Four auditors, along with Deloitte, EY and PwC. Seated in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, KPMG employs 174,000 people and has three lines of services: audit, tax, and advisory.

Position Summary

The Velocity / Asset Enablement Lead is a Senior Manager-level role responsible for building the operating leverage mechanisms that allow KPMG T&I's revenue to grow faster than its headcount - specifically through the systematic codification, management, and deployment of reusable delivery assets, accelerators, and intellectual property. This role ensures that every KPMG T&I engagement benefits from the accumulated knowledge of previous engagements, reducing delivery effort per dollar of revenue and enabling consistent quality across markets. The Velocity Lead's contribution is measured through asset reuse rates, delivery efficiency gains, and the maturity of KPMG T&I's intellectual property portfolio.

Responsibilities or duties

Key roles and responsibilities:

Asset Development and Library Management (50%)

  • Design and manage KPMG T&I's asset library - a structured, searchable repository of reusable delivery assets including solution templates, architecture blueprints, proposal content, methodology playbooks, and client-facing tools.
  • Work across all five capability blocks to identify, capture, and systematise reusable knowledge from active engagements - converting delivery experience into intellectual property.
  • Establish the asset lifecycle process - including asset creation standards, quality review, version control, and retirement criteria.
  • Measure and report asset reuse rates across the portfolio, tracking progress against the target of ≥40% asset reuse across deliveries.
  • Prioritise asset development based on delivery frequency, complexity, and revenue contribution - focusing effort on the highest-impact accelerators.

Delivery Velocity and Efficiency (35%)

  • Drive adoption of assets and accelerators across delivery teams - providing training, deployment support, and usage coaching to Engagement Delivery Leads and consultants.
  • Measure and track delivery efficiency metrics - specifically tracking the reduction in delivery effort per dollar of revenue as asset reuse matures.
  • Identify systemic inefficiencies in KPMG T&I's delivery model (repeated bespoke effort, re-invention of existing methodologies) and develop asset-based solutions.
  • Collaborate with Block E Tooling Lead to identify automation opportunities within the delivery workflow - reducing manual effort in governance, reporting, and client communication.
  • Develop velocity metrics and reporting for the T&I leadership team - demonstrating the financial return on the asset and enablement investment.

IP Commercialisation and Knowledge Strategy (15%)

  • Develop a roadmap for the commercialisation of KPMG T&I's intellectual property - identifying assets with standalone market value that could be licensed or productised.
  • Contribute to KPMG's thought leadership programme by curating insights from the asset library and enabling practitioners to publish market-facing content.
  • Explore opportunities to protect and document KPMG T&I's unique methodologies, frameworks, and tools as proprietary IP - working with KPMG's legal and risk teams to establish appropriate ownership and confidentiality protections.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

Academic/ Professional qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant degree in Business, Technology, Knowledge Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in technology consulting, with at least 3 years in a knowledge management, enablement, or IP development role.
  • Demonstrated experience building and managing asset libraries or intellectual property programmes in a professional services context.
  • Familiarity with knowledge management platforms (Confluence, SharePoint, Notion) and content management best practices.
  • Experience across at least two of KPMG T&I's core domains (cloud, cybersecurity, data & AI, enterprise platforms, PMO) to ensure cross-domain asset relevance.
  • Strong analytical capability - able to measure and communicate the financial value of asset reuse and delivery efficiency improvements.
