The Opportunity

You'll join our creative and production teams on live client work, from event coverage and activation films to short-form social content. By the end of three months, you'll have worked across pre-production, shooting, and post-production, and have pieces in your portfolio.

What You'll Do

  • Shoot video for client campaigns, events, and activations alongside the production team.
  • Set up and operate cameras, lighting, and audio, and prepare and check kit before shoots.
  • Edit and assemble footage, including highlight reels, recaps, and social cuts.
  • Create short-form content for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Capture behind-the-scenes content at events and activations.
  • Contribute to concepts, storyboards, and shot lists, and pitch ideas in creative briefings.
  • Organise, label, and back up footage and project files using our asset workflow.
  • Take part in client-facing work, including outside errands and field assignments.
  • Work with account management, creative, and production teams to meet deadlines.
  • Support ad-hoc photography and content tasks as needed.

What You'll Learn

  • How an agency production runs from brief to final delivery.
  • Filming in live event conditions, where there are no retakes.
  • Turning footage around quickly for social, with client feedback and revision rounds.
  • How to work with clients and handle field logistics.

Who You Are

Must have:

  • You are a continuing student or recent graduate in Film, Videography, Media Studies, Mass Communication, Digital Media, or a related field. A valid introduction letter from your institution is required if you are attaching as part of your course.

  • You have working knowlege in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar software.
  • You can work to tight deadlines, take feedback well, and communicate clearly.
  • You are available full-time for the whole 3 months and can work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, for events.
  • You are comfortable moving between the office and field assignments.

Nice to have:

  • A portfolio or showreel (a link is enough).
  • Experience with motion graphics, colour grading, or social-first editing.
  • Experience with photography or drone operation

What We Offer

  • A transport allowance for the duration of the attachment.
  • Hands-on work on real client projects, with a named mentor from the production team.
  • Exposure to client-facing work, including outside errands and field assignments.
  • A recommendation letter upon successful completion.
  • Consideration for a full-time position, should Red Giant deem it fitting.
  • Access to professional equipment and editing tools, and logbook sign-off and assessor support.
  • Portfolio-ready work, subject to client approvals.
