BridgeTalent Management is hiring on behalf of a prestigious hospitality client seeking top-tier talent to spearhead a highly anticipated opening. We're looking for exceptional professionals across Front of House and Culinary roles who bring strong technical expertise, operational excellence, and a passion for outstanding guest experiences.

WAITER / WAITRESS

Job Purpose

The Waiter/Waitress is responsible for delivering professional, attentive, and personalised table service while ensuring guests receive an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests and provide professional, courteous service.
  • Present menus and provide accurate information about food and beverages.
  • Take guest orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen and bar.
  • Serve food and beverages according to established service standards.
  • Ensure correct presentation, timing, and sequence of service.
  • Monitor guest needs throughout the dining experience.
  • Respond professionally to guest questions, requests, and concerns.
  • Demonstrate good knowledge of menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, and dietary considerations.
  • Make appropriate recommendations and assist guests with selections.
  • Maintain clean, organised, and properly set tables.
  • Process guest bills and payments accurately where required.
  • Coordinate with kitchen, bar, and front-of-house colleagues.
  • Handle guest complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Maintain high standards of personal grooming, hygiene, and professional conduct.
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and responsible service procedures.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties.
  • Support special events, functions, and high-volume service periods.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a high-end hotel, restaurant, or hospitality environment.
  • Experience in a 4- or 5-star establishment is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage service.
  • Professional appearance and manner.
  • Ability to anticipate guest needs and deliver personalised service.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong teamwork and attention to detail.
