Table maintenance: Prepare tables by setting linens, silverware, and glasses, and clear them after the guest has finished. Service quality: Check on guest satisfaction, handle complaints or concerns, and make recommendations. Financial transactions: Present checks to guests and accurately process payments. Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized dining area and follow health and safety regulations. Teamwork: Collaborate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers to ensure efficient service.
Customer service: Be friendly, professional, and attentive to the needs of guests to ensure a positive experience. Communication: Be an attentive listener and an engaging communicator with both customers and staff. Speed and efficiency: Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to manage multiple tables and tasks simultaneously. Attention to detail: Ensure order accuracy, food presentation, and table settings are correct. Problem-solving: Proactively address issues, resolve complaints calmly, and handle pressure well. Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other staff members to achieve a common goal. Knowledge: Have knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials to make recommendations and answer questions. Physical stamina: Be able to stand and walk for long periods and carry trays.
