Bible Translation and Literacy - Christian International Conference Centre (BTL-CICC), Ruiru, is seeking to recruit a dynamic, innovative and highly motivated born-again Christian in good standing, demonstrated spiritual maturity, team spirit, integrity, and a calling to serve to fill the position below.

WAITRESS

Reporting to the Head Waiter/Waitress, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent food and beverage service, ensuring guest satisfaction, promoting Centre products and services, and contributing to the overall success of the Food & Beverage Department.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages professionally and efficiently.
• Take guest orders, explain menu items, and recommend daily specials.
• Prepare and maintain restaurant service areas, including table setup and cleanliness.
• Ensure timely service, guest satisfaction, and prompt resolution of customer concerns.
• Process guest bills and coordinate payments.
• Promote and upsell the Centre's products and services.
• Participate in departmental meetings, briefings, and training sessions.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, presentation, and customer care.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Food and Beverage Sales and Service or a related field from a recognized institution.
• At least two-years experience in a busy hospitality establishment.
• Experience using hotel or restaurant management systems such as Hotel Plus POS, Micros Fidelio, Intersoft, or similar platforms.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
