Job Context

This role is for a Water Treatment Plant Operator at an Ultra Luxury Beachfront Hotel located in Mombasa. The operator will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of the water treatment plant to provide high-quality water for the hotel's operations.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain water treatment equipment.

Monitor water quality parameters and adjust treatment processes as needed.

Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on plant machinery.

Keep accurate records of plant operations, water quality tests, and maintenance activities.

Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental regulations and safety standards.

Respond to emergencies and troubleshoot operational issues.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Water Treatment Plant Operator.

Knowledge of water treatment processes and equipment.

Familiarity with water quality testing procedures.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Good communication and record-keeping skills.

Certification as a Water Treatment Plant Operator is a plus.
