Overview
Essential Day-to-Day Responsibilities

1. Project Implementations – Key responsibility is to implement LSEG Solutions/Products
2. Deliver capabilities such as Consultancy, software implementation, configuration, integration as per plan and allocations
3. Preparing and planning of complex technical requirements for the implementation environment, integration details, testing details – UAT, SIT, Unit Testing etc
4. Integrate technical solutions with 3rd Party and Customer systems
5. Contribute to data engineering or content integration activities where necessary to provide end to end solution completeness
6. Provide technical support during UAT phase and transition for Go-live of the solution being delivered
7. Support Project/Program management team ensuring project plan activities are delivered on time, on budget and in line with customer expectations
Post Implementation
1. Provide functional and/or technical training to customers based on the scope to be delivered
2. Develop detailed technical documentation of the solution that is needed for maintenance and supports teams including customers’ teams
3. Pre-Sales
4. Provide technical inputs in complex proposals delivering typical key activities, such as: customer requirements gathering and analysis,
5. Design technical solutions for customers based on LSEG products and customer business requirements
6. Provide estimates of effort and timelines of tasks
7. Contribute to SOW with technical scoping, estimates and timelines for technical tasks to implement the proposed LSEG products/Solutions
Team Player and self-drive
1. Develop into Subject Matter Expert in customer business workflows and related solutions packages and products, providing Treasury domain expertise to our customers relative to solution propositions.
2. Develop customer relations at appropriate level to become a trusted business advisor
3. Conduct knowledge sharing sessions with peers on the experience gained in the solutions projects
4. Drive, follow or evolve implementation practices within the Professional Services Organization
Required Skills (Must Have)
1. At least 5+ years of experience in the Financial Services & Banking Sector implementing, integrating and/or Supporting Treasury systems e.g., Kondor, Murex
2. The successful candidate should have exposure in a bank’s front, middle and back-office operations
3. Strong communication and presentations skills adaptable to different audience levels e.g., C level, Treasury heads, I.T managers, Project Managers, I.T personnel
4. Must be able to discuss & develop documents such as requirements docs (BRD), specification docs (FSD), Technical Architecture diagrams, configuration documents, operational procedures, workflow diagrams etc
5. Techno Functional skills and a track record of successfully delivering large, multi-streamed projects through the full project cycle within specified timescales and budget is an advantage
6. Must be a proactive self-starter and possess the ability to solve problems and address issues with creativity and innovation
7. Enterprise-wide thinking, able to give end to end solutions
8. Knowledge of financial markets and understanding of business requirements, ability to work in a demanding environment to meet customer deadlines
Technical Knowledge
1. Systems integration experience with technologies e.g., Webservices, MQ, ESB
2. Basic Web authoring knowledge such as HTML, Jscript, CSS, XSLT, XML
3. Strong operating systems knowledge - Linux, Solaris, Windows including fundamental areas like VI editor, SFTP, SSH, scripting, networking, security
4. Knowledge/Experience in any of the coding languages e.g., Python, .NET, C# is an advantage
5. Databases knowledge e.g., Oracle / MS SQL is an advantage
6. Knowledge and experience on Cloud technologies e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure is must have
7. Desired (Not mandatory) Skills
8. Deep data/content expertise and know-how around market data content
9. Ability to explore and understand clients' data requirements to architecture and build the best solution.

Qualification

Certifications

2. Python programmer certification (PCEP – Certified Entry-Level Python Programmer or equivalent will be an additional advantage

Overview
In 2020, IFRC/AMP was awarded a three-year grant by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to identify ways to improve operational efficiency for ITN campaigns and develop associated operational guidance for national malaria programmes and partners. The activities in the grant are organized into seven workstreams, representing some of the most critical inefficiencies and challenges national malaria programmes and partners face with ITN campaigns and continuous distribution. The project is coming to the end of the second year and the team anticipates submission of a proposal to the Gates Foundation before the end of 2022 to minimize the possibility of a gap between grants.
The overall objective of this consultancy is to support the IFRC/AMP malaria team with activities related to the ITN Campaign Efficiency Project as detailed below.

Job Duties And Responsibilities
Project objectives and outcomes:
• Objective #1: Scaling up and maintaining universal coverage targets of malaria prevention with ITNs through all available channels including mass distribution campaigns and continuous distribution channels
• Desired outcomes: To address inefficiencies in planning and implementation of mass ITN distribution campaigns and continuous ITN distribution.
Specific Objectives
• To support development and finalization of deliverables from the ITN Campaign Efficiency Project across the seven workstreams with a focus on digitalization, electronic payments and case studies.
• To support development and finalization of the Year 2 report for the ITN Campaign Efficiency Project.
• To support development of a draft concept note and/or proposal for the Gates Foundation for a new investment grant.
• To support collection and compilation of data and results of evaluations specific to the BMGF project in order to develop updated operational guidance and ensure consensus across malaria partners.
• To support correct and timely monthly reporting on all project activities and support decision-making for course corrections to achieve project objectives.
• To support organization of a meeting focused on re-engagement of National Societies in Global Fund grants with a focus on malaria.
• To participate in workplan and project review meetings and contribute to discussions about keeping deliverables on track.
• To support with dissemination of project deliverables, including organization of training sessions, webinars, etc.
• To support updating of website text and reorganization of resources for improved user experience.
• To support the reorganization of AMP resources database to make it user friendly.

Roles and responsibilities
Achieving Zamara’s ambitious strategic priorities will be complex and challenging. Its continued success will be dependent on building and retaining a world-class team. The Risk Consultant will provide quality service and advice to clients by co-ordinating underwriting activities in the division professionally to ensure client satisfaction, retention and expansion.
The role will report to the Team Leader.
In more detail, the areas of responsibility include:
Account Servicing

The following experience is preferred:
Bachelor of Commerce degree - Insurance option or business-related field
1. Review underwriting documents to ensure they agree with the current market trends, the Insurance Act and IRA guidelines
2. Verify validity of claims with the underwriting terms to decide on whether they are admissible or not
3. Confirm that underwriting prerequisites are met before a risk is taken up
4. Handle renewals and midterm premium adjustments
5. Ensure premiums are fully paid by providing monthly updates of outstanding premiums
6. Follow up on claims and update the scheme administrator
7. Identify client’s needs and ensure they are satisfactorily met
8. Prepare monthly reports and client feedback/SLA’s
9. Carry out product training to clients at least twice within the policy period
10. Send out periodic e-shots on various products offered in retail as well as sensitization of pertinent matters concerning existing covers

Managing and Growing Client Portfolio
1. Formulate a client log to track existing clients plus their current policies
