About the Role
• The Senior Director Sales & Operations Planning is responsible for building and implementing a world class S&OP process with the aim of improving customer satisfaction, profitability, stockholding, lead times and working capital. The core functions of the position include strategic and tactical decision-making related to balancing demand with supply and aligning volume/mix with capacity and capability. The position is accountable for driving supply chain planning through quantitative and qualitative analysis, providing recommendations to support planning initiatives and integrate financial and operating plans within strategic objectives, delivering improved operating and financial results.

Roles and Responsibilities
• Develop and implement an integrated supply chain planning processes that effectively supports Wasoko’s growing and dynamic business model
• Develop and implement processes and analytics that produce accurate Demand plans (Sales, Promotion, Pricing) and Supply plans (Purchasing, Capacity, Fulfilment)
• Partner with senior stakeholders in Commercial and Logistics to regularly evaluate actual vs forecast accuracy and work to improve accuracy accounting for external factors
• Develop metrics, tools and reporting that will enable teams to better achieve service levels and targets
• Develop, monitor and revise fulfilment and sourcing plans to drive workforce and asset optimization while meeting the needs of the customer

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
• Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media
• Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns
• Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services
• Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data
• Ensure the availability of stock for sales and demonstrations
• Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences
• Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
• Collaborate with team members to achieve better results
• Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams
