Competencies and Qualifications
• Diploma/Bachelors in Instrumentation and control or Electrical and electronic engineering or Physics from a recognized college/university.
• Candidates with at least 1+ year experience as service and calibration technician in an ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accredited calibration lab highly desired.
• Training in at least 2 of the following fields in calibration-Temperature, pressure, electrical, torque.
• Basic mathematical skills including algebra, geometry, and statistics.
• Familiarity with basic electronics test and troubleshooting tools.
• Proficiency with office computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Basic organizational and time management skills. Ability to learn new skills regarding calibration and calibration processes.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Prepare and manage the Annual Plan for submission of all Carbon documents. This shall be a clear well-defined plan showing which report will be prepared by whom, reviewed by when, and submitted on SharePoint and to the Carbon Operations Director and Carbon Consultant by when. This planner will be influenced by the expected date of issuance and Standard review booking dates and ensure collaboration and alignment between the Project Management team and technical team
• Take the lead in Drafting, Reviewing, or Refining clear Standard Operating Procedures and Quality control and Quality Assurance plans and strategies for All reporting and technical aspects of carbon processes, to be implemented by the Project Management teams and all support departments in BURN (Commercial Team, Business Intelligence department, Carbon Project Management team, and Carbon Technical Officers). In doing so, the manager will ensure that they are aware of all latest and recent updates to applicable standard requirements and methodologies.
• Training and capacity building to ensure compliance with carbon standard requirements from BURN, and make sure the carbon project Management team is following the requirements of the standards based on the SOPs developed
• Review, and draft where required, all Carbon documentation – e.g., but not limited to PoA-DD, Grouped Project Descriptions, VPA-DD, Monitoring reports, Local Stakeholder consultation reports, and all related Support documents, and submit them to the Carbon Consultant on time and in scope
