JOB DETAILS:
Cement Mill Attendant
o Participate in lock-out/tag-out application and other safe systems of work implementation.
o Work within the requirements of company’s safety procedures, safe work practices and regulatory requirements.
o Report unsafe acts, conditions and other safety concerns/issues to the safety personnel and/or supervisor.
o Report accident/incidents/near misses to direct supervisor/safety personnel as soon as possible after occurrence and follow-up on the corrective action developed from accident/incident/near miss investigations.
o Conduct risk assessment before proceeding with any activities.
o Follow /abide by the safety rules and regulations provided.
o Complied with safety mandate stipulated in the Health & Safety Manual.
o Regularly or as often as necessary, checks and inspect operation of CM equipment/machinery and compressor.
o Ensures the continuous flow of material at Belt conveyors discharge chutes and removes clogs if occurs.
o Observes working and fixed side pressure limits of tie rod to ensure balance operation of roller inside the mill.
o Reports immediately to CM Operator any abnormalities of operation of machinery and equipment.
o Helps in the work activities during periodic shutdown or due to major breakdowns. Performs essentially manual tasks and work with a team depending on workloads and availability of personnel.
o Responsible for maintaining good housekeeping and general cleanliness in his workstation up and around designated areas.
o Observes safety rules and regulations.
o Performs other duties as assigned.
