Responsibilities
- Offer technical support, in conjunction with relevant technical support teams, related to product performance, at key accounts and channel partners.
- Work with regional Account Managers to grow existing business, and nurture new opportunities, and actively participate in the sales process.
- Supervise customer and distributor poultry trials, visit research facilities, and deliver detailed analyses of trial results.
- Maintain high-level relationships with key customers and influencers, especially nutritionists and vets.
- Investigate customer complaints and resolve industry issues on-site, including product applications and marketing efforts.
- Engage in professional trade associations and committees related to the poultry industry.
- Develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape for gastrointestinal health products and services and equip distributors through value messaging against competitors.
- Work with Account managers to create annual account plans for key customers and channel partners for their long-term growth and ensure direction is in alignment with global marketing plans.
- Be able to represent Novonesis® on industry forums and be the voice of our solutions in trade shows and conferences, when needed.
Qualifications and Experience
- Masters’ or PhD in Animal Health and Nutrition, or related field.
- Understanding and experience in feed formulations involving probiotics and enzymes will be an advantage.
- Have 8-10 years’ experience in Animal health and nutrition, with a solid understanding of application and product formulations.
- Strong drive, responsible, goal-oriented, well organized, and self-motivated, being able to develop regions independently.
- Willingness to travel ~50% of the time primarily in the assigned region when required.

- Individual will report to the Commercial Lead of Animal Health and Nutrition Africa
- This is an individual contributor role.
- The role will be based in our Nairobi office, we operate in a hybrid model and mandate to be in the office at least 3 days a week, when not traveling.
