Background
Shamberere Technical Training Institute is one of the greatest Institutions in middle and Tertiary training which offers creative and innovative courses. Shamberere Technical Training Institute (STTI), locate in Kakamega County, was established in 1982 as a Rural Education Programme and later elevated to a Youth Polytechnic in 1985. It was subsequently awarded a Trade Test Center in 1996, catering for boarders and day scholars. The Institute is now registered under the then Ministry of Education Science and Technology (MOEST) as one of the technical training institutes in Kenya since 2009.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Training in specific areas of specialization;
- Supervising students on attachment;
- Development of technical and training Materials.
- Undertaking research in the respective training area;
- Any other duty as may be assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree /Higher National Diploma or Diploma in the advertised discipline
- Pedagogy in Education and TVETA Registration is an added advantage
