About the Role

BRAC Kenya is seeking a Branch Accounts Officer to manage financial operations at the branch level. You’ll oversee transaction processing, cash management, reconciliations, and reporting, ensuring compliance with policies while supporting loan disbursement and collection activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage loan disbursements and repayments in Core Banking System
• Reconcile digital payments and resolve transaction mismatches
• Perform daily reconciliations and prepare financial reports
• Maintain branch cash operations and enforce control limits
• Process branch expenses and ensure compliance with policies
• Provide client account support and resolve transaction queries

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Banking, or related field
• CPA Part I/II or equivalent qualification preferred
• Strong knowledge of transaction processing and reconciliations
• Familiarity with CBS and mobile money platforms (e.g., M‑PESA)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word with attention to detail
