Job Summary
Rafiki wa Maendeleo Trust (RWMT) is seeking a passionate and committed Whole Youth Development Officer to support the holistic development of youth trainees at RTRC. The role focuses on life skills development, psychosocial support, mentorship, career readiness, and pastoral care to help young people transition successfully into work and responsible adulthood.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and counseling to youth trainees
- Design and deliver life-skills programs (leadership, communication, GBV, SRHR, work readiness)
- Coordinate student clubs, peer education, and character development activities
- Support industrial attachments, alumni engagement, and partnerships
- Assist with student welfare, discipline, reporting, and youth-focused programs
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Social Sciences, Community Development, Psychology, or related field
- At least 2 years’ experience working with youth in life-skills or development programs
- Strong facilitation, mentoring, and interpersonal skills
- High integrity, confidentiality, and commitment to youth wellbeing
- Willingness to live and work in a rural setting
